KVS Class 1 Admission 2026 – Eligibility

  • For KVS Class 1 Admission 2026, the child must be 6 years old as on 31 March 2026 . There is no minimum educational qualification required for admission to Class 1. The child must meet the age criteria as per Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan rules.
    • For KVS Class I Admission 2026, the child’s age should be 6 to 8 years as on 31/03/2026.
    • For Class II and other classes, candidates must refer to the official notification for detailed eligibility and admission rules.
    • If a candidate’s date of birth is 01 April, KVS also considers them eligible for the admission process for the academic session 2026–2027 as per rules.
