BSEB STET – Secondary Teacher Eligibility Criteria
Paper 1 – Secondary Level
Candidates must meet any one of the following educational qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. qualification.
  • Master's degree in the concerned subject along with a B.Ed. degree.
  • Graduation or Post-Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE guidelines.
  • Completed a four-year integrated BA-B.Ed. or BSc-B.Ed. programme.
Note: Subject-specific qualification requirements should be checked in the official notification.
Paper 2 – Senior Secondary Level
Applicants should fulfil at least one of these qualification conditions:
  • Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with 50% marks along with B.Ed., BA-B.Ed. or BSc-B.Ed.
  • Master's degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. as prescribed under NCTE norms.
  • Master's degree with 55% marks along with a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. programme.
